About Studio Legier
I learned to crochet as a child, sitting beside my grandmother as she patiently taught me stitch by stitch. What began as time spent together became something I carried with me, an appreciation for slow work, steady hands, and the comfort that comes from making something with care.
For me, crochet is both grounding and expressive. It is a quiet form of therapy that turns into art, with each piece shaped by intention, rhythm, and story. Over the years, my work has found its way into many meaningful moments, from blankets for newborn care closets in hospitals to lovingly made pieces for rainbow babies, and keepsakes created to honor life’s most tender milestones.
I also create custom work for families for many different reasons. Some pieces reflect a favorite sports team or character. Others mark moments like a baby’s first Christmas ornament or a gift meant to celebrate a new chapter. These custom designs are among my favorite to make because they are personal, purposeful, and often created with the hope that they will be handed down through generations.
